What We Prescribe
Oral minoxidil (low dose, the current standard for both men and women), topical minoxidil solution or foam, finasteride for men with pattern hair loss, spironolactone for women, and supportive options: biotin injections ($50), GHK-Cu peptide for scalp and skin ($229 a month), and a micronutrient panel to rule out iron, thyroid or vitamin D causes.
How It Works
A $50 video consultation with photos of your scalp, labs drawn at home if there may be a medical cause, a prescription if appropriate, and medication shipped monthly. Results take three to six months; the provider checks in at month three.
Price
Quoted after the consultation based on the combination prescribed; most programs are under $100 a month for medication alone. The $50 consultation is one-time.
Common Questions
Does oral minoxidil work better than the foam?+
For many people, yes, and it is easier to stick with. The provider decides based on your health and blood pressure.
Can women take finasteride?+
Generally not if there is any chance of pregnancy. Spironolactone is the usual choice for women.
How long until I see results?+
Shedding can briefly increase at first; regrowth shows at three to six months.
