What Gets Evaluated
A virtual sick visit is a real medical evaluation over video with a licensed provider — not a symptom checker. It's built for the kind of illness that's genuinely bothering you but doesn't need hands-on examination: cold and flu-like symptoms, sinus or ear pain, minor rashes, medication refill questions, and general "something's off" concerns.
Your provider asks the questions a real visit requires, reviews your history, and puts together a plan — advice, a prescription when appropriate, or a referral to an in-person visit if the video call isn't enough to work with.
How It Works
Request a visit online and describe what's going on. We'll send you a link for a video call with a licensed provider, usually the same day.
If your provider decides you need to be seen in person, they'll say so directly and help you get scheduled for a house call or point you to the right level of care.
When an In-Person Visit Is the Better Call
Some things genuinely need hands-on examination — your provider will tell you plainly if a video call isn't enough. This is not for medical emergencies. If you or someone with you is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can be handled virtually versus in person?+
Straightforward illness with clear symptoms — cold/flu, minor infections, rashes, medication questions — usually works well over video. Anything needing a physical exam, labs, or an IV gets referred to an in-person visit.
How quickly can I get seen?+
Same-day appointments are typically available during business hours.
Can you prescribe medication over video?+
Yes, when it's clinically appropriate and within your provider's scope of practice.
Do I need a working camera and microphone?+
Yes — the visit is a real video call, not a chat or phone call, so your provider can actually see what's going on where relevant.
Is this covered by insurance?+
We're a direct-pay practice — no insurance billing. Pricing is discussed when you book.
What if my provider thinks I need to come in?+
They'll tell you directly and help set up a house call or point you to the appropriate next step.
