How compounded GLP-1 vials work

Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide come in a small vial, usually 5 or 10 mg, and you draw your weekly dose with an insulin syringe. Doses per vial depend on your dose, which goes up slowly over the first months.

Why you should never run out

Missing two or more weeks means your provider usually restarts you at a lower dose, which costs you a month of progress. Refills ship in 3 to 5 business days, so reorder when you have two doses left.

Storing your vial

Keep it in the fridge, not the door. Once opened, most compounded vials are good for 28 days; check the label from your pharmacy. Do not freeze it.
