Frequently Asked Questions

Everything People Ask Before Their First Session.

Grouped by what you are actually trying to work out. If your question is not here, the consult is free and a provider — not a salesperson — takes the call.

01

Before Your First Session

What happens between booking and the nurse arriving.

Do I need a consult before my first drip?+

A brief intake, yes. It takes about five minutes online and a medical provider reviews it before your appointment is confirmed. Prescription programmes require a full consult and labs before anything is dispensed.

How quickly can I be seen?+

Same-day appointments are usually available, and our team can typically reach you within three hours anywhere in our service area. Book before noon and the afternoon is almost always open.

How should I prepare?+

Eat something and drink water in the two hours beforehand — a hydrated vein is an easy vein. Have your medication and supplement list handy, and wear something with sleeves that move.

Where do you set up?+

Wherever you are comfortable: a sofa, a bed, a desk, a hotel armchair. Your nurse needs a seat for you, somewhere to hang the bag and about a metre of space. That is all.

Can I cancel or reschedule?+

Free up to four hours before your appointment. Inside that window we charge half the visit, which we waive if you are unwell — we would rather you rest than push through.

02

Safety & Medical Oversight

Who is responsible for what, and where we draw lines.

Who actually administers the drip?+

A Licensed Registered Nurse, always, working from physician-approved protocols and overseen by our medical director. Your nurse stays with you for the entire infusion and adjusts the rate if anything feels off.

What if a therapy is not right for me?+

We will say so. If your labs or history do not support a therapy, the consult fee is refunded and we point you toward what would genuinely help — including a referral out when that is the honest answer.

Are the ingredients pharmaceutical grade?+

Yes. Every vitamin, mineral and medication meets the standards used in hospital and clinical settings, and every catheter, tubing set and applicable supply is sterile and single-use.

What are the risks?+

Bruising or tenderness at the site is the common one. Rarer risks include vein irritation, lightheadedness and allergic reaction — your nurse screens for contraindications and stays in the room precisely because of them.

Can you treat me if I am pregnant or post-surgical?+

Often, with clearance. Pregnancy requires your OB/GYN sign-off and post-surgical care requires your surgeon's. Hospice care is coordinated with your hospice team. We do not proceed without that clearance.

Do you treat children?+

Ages twelve and up at 100 lbs and up, with parental consent, a guardian present throughout and a full vitals check before every session. Below that we refer to a pediatrician.

03

IV Therapy

Choosing a drip, and what it does once it is in.

How do I choose between twenty formulas?+

Take the sixty-second quiz, or let the consult do it. Most first-timers land on Myers or Hydration; your provider confirms the formula against your intake before anything is prepared.

How long does a drip take?+

Thirty minutes for Hydration or Hangover, forty-five for most formulas, ninety for NAD+ and the All Inclusive. The rate is clinical, not commercial — we do not speed a bag up to free the slot.

Does it hurt?+

A single small catheter placement — a few seconds of sting, then nothing. Our nurses place hundreds of lines a month and use the smallest gauge your veins will take.

How soon will I feel it?+

Hydration and B vitamins are often felt before the bag finishes. Antioxidant and skin effects build across a series rather than a single visit, and we say so rather than overselling the first session.

How often can I have one?+

Depends on the formula. Hydration is as-needed; Myers suits every two to four weeks; NAD+ runs weekly for four then monthly. Your provider sets the safe cadence and will decline a visit inside it.

Can I add to my drip?+

Yes — glutathione, extra B12, zinc, biotin, taurine, anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory are all priced on the menu and added at the chair, but only after the nurse confirms they suit you.

04

GLP-1 & Peptides

How the prescribed programmes actually run.

Do I need labs first?+

Always, without exception, for any prescription therapy. We arrange a draw at home or at a lab near you, and results are usually back within three business days.

What does the monthly fee cover?+

Your provider, labs review, dose titration, unlimited messaging and monthly check-ins, plus nutrition guidance. Medication is billed separately and varies by dose and pharmacy.

How fast will I lose weight?+

Trial averages are useful, individual results are not promises. What we control is the titration: slow escalation, held at the lowest effective dose, adjusted when life or side effects demand it.

What are the side effects?+

Nausea, early fullness and constipation are the common GLP-1 ones and are usually dose-related. Slow titration is the main defence — which is why we do not climb on the fastest label schedule.

Who cannot take a GLP-1?+

Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2 rules it out, and pancreatitis history requires careful review. Your provider goes through the full list at the consult.

What happens when I stop?+

Regain after discontinuation is well documented and is pharmacology, not a personal failure. We build a taper with resistance training and protein targets — and for some patients a low maintenance dose is the honest answer.

Is BPC-157 approved?+

No. The evidence base is largely animal studies, we say so plainly, and we prescribe it only in defined eight to twelve week courses at conservative doses. It is also prohibited under anti-doping rules.

05

Pricing, Insurance & Membership

What it costs, and what it does not.

Is there a travel or concierge fee?+

No. The menu price is the price you pay anywhere in our service area — Manhattan or Montauk, same number. Travel is included, always.

Is any of this covered by insurance?+

Elective infusions and programme fees are not covered. We provide itemised superbills on request, and HSA and FSA cards are accepted for most services.

When does membership make sense?+

Past about one visit a month. Members get monthly IV credits, save up to 45% on premium drips, and get concierge priority booking. No contracts — pause or cancel any time.

Do unused credits expire?+

Credits roll for ninety days. Beyond that they lapse — we would rather tell you that up front than bury it.

Do you offer gift cards?+

Yes, in any amount, redeemable against any drip, add-on or programme fee. They do not expire.

06

Groups, Events & Concierge

Four or more people at one address.

What counts as a group booking?+

Four or more guests at a single address — bachelorette parties, bridal showers, birthdays, corporate wellness days, race weekends and athlete recovery sessions.

How is a group billed?+

Per guest, at menu pricing, with no travel fee. Corporate accounts are invoiced monthly rather than per event.

How many nurses come?+

Enough to keep every session unhurried — usually one nurse per two to three guests, so nobody is left infusing unattended while another line is placed.

Can you come to a hotel or venue?+

Yes. Hotels, offices, event spaces, weekend rentals and private homes are all standard for us. Larger venues need a few days' notice so we can staff it properly.

How much notice do you need?+

Same day is often possible for one or two guests. For groups, give us two to three days; for anything over eight guests, a week is kinder to everyone.
