Why a drip instead of a pill

A drip goes straight into your bloodstream. It does not depend on your stomach. That matters when you cannot keep anything down, when you are dehydrated, or when you want fluid fast. A pill has to pass through your gut first, which takes time and does not work well when you are sick.

Here is the honest part. If your vitamin levels are normal and you are not dehydrated, a vitamin drip may not do much more than a good meal and a glass of water. Research on vitamin drips in healthy people is limited. The NIH fact sheets we link on our ingredients page say the same thing about most vitamins: they help most when you are low in them. Source: NIH Office of Dietary Supplements We would rather tell you this up front than sell you a drip you do not need.

Why a nurse comes to you

When you feel awful, the last thing you want is to get dressed, travel and sit in a waiting room. Our nurse comes to your home, hotel, office or event. You sit on your own couch. The nurse sets up, places a small IV line, stays for the whole visit and cleans up. There is no travel fee anywhere we serve. Most visits take about 45 minutes.

Who gives the drip and who oversees it

  • Licensed registered nurses give every drip. They place IV lines every day.
  • A provider reviews your health first. Before your first visit you fill out a short intake form. A provider on our team reads it and confirms the drip is right for you.
  • Our physician medical director oversees every treatment. Nurses work from protocols the medical director has approved.
  • Not everyone should get a drip. If you have heart or kidney problems, are pregnant or nursing, or take certain medicines, you may need clearance from your own doctor first. If a drip is not safe for you that day, the nurse will tell you and will not give it.
  • We are not an emergency service. For chest pain, trouble breathing, fainting or any emergency, call 911.

Where we go

We serve all of New York & New Jersey:

  • New York City: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island
  • Westchester and the Hudson Valley
  • Long Island, including the Hamptons
  • Upstate New York, scheduled a day ahead
  • New Jersey: all 21 counties, from North Jersey to the Shore to South Jersey

No travel fee. No neighborhood surcharge. See our service area page.

Hours and how fast

We are open 8 AM to 11 PM, seven days a week. In Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Hoboken and Jersey City a nurse usually arrives in one to three hours. In Long Island, Westchester and the rest of New Jersey, we are usually same day or next morning. Upstate New York and South Jersey are booked a day ahead. Booking before noon makes an afternoon slot likely.

What it costs

Every price includes the nurse's travel. There are no hidden fees. You are not charged until after the visit. We do not take insurance, but HSA and FSA cards are often accepted and we can give you an itemized receipt. See the full menu on our IV therapy cost page.

Farima was both extremely professional as well as competent and caring. They spent a lot of time with us, catering exactly what we needed medically and whole body wellness wise as well. They got here on time and on a weekend - it really made us feel cared for in a way we wouldn't at an urgent care or after hours at the ER. Totally worth the money - which was extremely affordable compared to clinics, etc and we had the added benefit of not having to leave the house! We definitely recommend!!!

Farima is truly the best. As someone with a chronic illness who needs IVs regularly, it can be really difficult to find nurses who are both skilled and genuinely caring. They always make me feel comfortable, listened to, and cared for the entire time. They are incredibly gentle, always get my veins easily, and make sure everything is done perfectly and professionally. You can tell they truly care about their patients and want the experience to be as stress-free as possible. I'm so grateful for their kindness, patience, and expertise!! I would recommend them to anybody who Is looking for a great IV experience 😊
