A nurse places the line and stays in the room. Blanket, low light, no upsell. You leave when the bag does.
Before, During and After
Before
Eat something and drink water in the two hours beforehand — a hydrated vein is an easy vein. Have your medication and supplement list ready; leave nothing off it.
During
Your nurse checks vitals and places a small catheter, usually in the forearm. You will feel cool fluid for a minute. Sit back, work, read or sleep — the nurse stays with you throughout.
After
Keep the dressing on for an hour. Mild bruising at the site is normal for a day or two. Drink normally; there is no need to force fluids afterwards.
What the Science Actually Supports
Methylene blue has serious, well-documented interactions with SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs and other serotonergic medications — serotonin syndrome risk is real, and we screen your full medication list before agreeing to this infusion. Not appropriate with G6PD deficiency. This is a newer offering on our menu and the evidence for cognitive benefit is still developing; we discuss that plainly before you book.

Does it hurt?+

Can I add to my drip?+

Do you take insurance?+
Elective infusions are not covered by insurance. We provide an itemised superbill on request, and HSA and FSA cards are accepted.
