Weight loss medications work, and sticking with them is the hard part

Clinical trials show roughly 15% body-weight loss on semaglutide and up to about 21% on tirzepatide over about 16 months (STEP 1, SURMOUNT-1). Insurance-claims research finds that most people on GLP-1s stop within 6 months, which is why our programs are built around check-ins, dose adjustment and a maintenance phase rather than a one-time prescription.

Weight and mental health move together

Large consumer surveys report that more than half of American adults say their weight directly affects their mental health, and that people with obesity are far more likely to describe their bodies in negative terms. Treating weight is also treating mood, which is why we screen for sleep and stress at intake.

Sexual dysfunction is not an age problem

Urologists report that erectile dysfunction affects a large share of men under 40 at some point, and that most men who have it never seek help because of stigma. Surveys find many people believe their quality of life would improve if their sex life did. Telehealth lowers the barrier: a private video visit and a discreet package.

Low testosterone is under-diagnosed

Symptoms like fatigue, low drive and slow recovery are often written off as aging. A simple blood panel drawn at home tells the difference, and treatment (TRT or enclomiphene) is only offered when the numbers and the symptoms both say so.

Hair loss responds best when treated early

Finasteride and minoxidil have decades of evidence for male-pattern loss, and results are better the sooner treatment starts. Combining oral and topical treatment produces the strongest regrowth in most studies, which is why we offer the full program.

Younger adults prefer telehealth

Surveys show adults under 35 are several times more likely than older adults to use telehealth for weight loss and sexual health. The reasons given most are privacy, speed and not having to sit in a waiting room, the same reasons we send nurses to the home instead of asking you to come to us.
