Who Treats You
Every IV therapy visit is administered by a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN). Prescription programs — including GLP-1, peptide, hormone, and other physician-managed care — are evaluated and prescribed by a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or physician, consistent with their scope of practice under New York and New Jersey law.
Clinical Oversight
Our nursing staff work from protocols developed and approved by our medical director and, where required by state law, a collaborating physician. Every formula on our menu, every add-on, and every prescription program has a written protocol that defines when it is and is not appropriate, and our staff are trained to decline or escalate care that falls outside that protocol.
Standing Protocols
IV therapy formulas are administered under standing orders reviewed by our medical leadership. This allows same-day scheduling while still requiring a real intake, vitals check, and provider-reviewed screening before every visit — standing orders are not a substitute for individualized clinical judgment, and any visit can be modified or declined based on what our nurse finds at the chair.
Prescription Programs
GLP-1, peptide, and hormone programs require an individualized consultation, current labs, and a prescription written specifically for you by a licensed provider after reviewing your history. These are not standing-order services; nothing is dispensed without that individualized review, and your provider will decline to prescribe when it is not clinically appropriate.
Licensing & Verification
All clinicians providing care through Zen IV Spa hold active, unrestricted licenses in the state where your service is rendered. License information for your assigned provider is available on request — contact us and we will provide it.
