What It Means Here
A licensed physician, our medical director, sets the protocols and reviews every prescription. A licensed provider talks to you on video before anything is prescribed, reads your labs, and checks in through the program. A nurse can be at your door.
What It Often Means Elsewhere
A questionnaire, an automated approval, a vial in the mail. Technically a prescription; practically unsupervised.
How to Tell
Ask who the physician is, whether labs are required, and whether a human will answer a message. If any answer is vague, it is not supervision.
