The Three Questions That Decide Safety

First, is a licensed physician prescribing it for you specifically, after seeing your history and your labs? Second, is it compounded by an FDA-registered 503A pharmacy with testing on every batch? Third, is someone monitoring you after you start? If the answer to any of those is no, the product may be fine and the setup is still unsafe.

At Zen IV Spa the answers are yes, yes and yes. Every program at Zen IV Spa is prescribed and overseen by our medical director, a licensed physician, after a consultation and baseline labs. A nurse comes to your home in New York or New Jersey for your first dose if you want one, and refills ship to your door.

Common Side Effects, Peptide by Peptide

Injection-site redness or a small bump is the most common thing people see, with almost every injectable peptide, and it fades in a day or two. Growth hormone peptides like sermorelin can cause flushing, water retention or tingling early on. GLP-1s cause nausea, constipation and reduced appetite, which is partly the point. PT-141 can cause flushing and nausea for a few hours. DSIP can leave some people groggy the first few nights.

Serious reactions are rare and almost always tied to an undisclosed condition or a product that was not what the label said. That is why we ask the boring questions and only use pharmacies we can verify.

What the Labs Are For

Baseline labs are not a formality. A metabolic panel and blood count catch kidney, liver and blood problems. Thyroid and hormone panels tell us whether a growth-hormone or hormone program is appropriate. For weight-loss peptides we check A1c and lipids. A nurse draws them at your home in New York or New Jersey, and the provider reviews them with you on a video visit before anything ships.

Who Should Not Take Peptides

Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding. Anyone with active cancer or a history of certain tumors, because growth-hormone peptides and some repair peptides promote cell growth. Anyone with uncontrolled diabetes, significant kidney or liver disease, or an eating disorder. Our medical director screens for these and will decline when it is not safe, and will say why.

Cost

Single peptides are $229 a month (glutathione $199), stacks are $299, KLOW is $349, semaglutide is $199 and tirzepatide is $299. A 2-month supply is 10% off and a 3-month supply is 15% off. The provider consultation is $50. That price includes the peptide from an FDA-registered US 503A compounding pharmacy, supplies, overnight refrigerated shipping, the intake review and follow-ups.

Common Questions

Are peptides FDA-approved?+

Semaglutide and tirzepatide are. Most other peptides are compounded for individual patients and are not FDA-approved for these uses. We say so on every page.

Can I take peptides with my other medications?+

Sometimes. The provider reviews everything you take at the consultation. Blood thinners, insulin, and some antidepressants need extra care.

What if something feels wrong after I start?+

Message your provider through the patient dashboard or call us. Dose changes and stopping are decided the same day.

Do you test the peptides?+

Our pharmacies test every batch for identity, purity and sterility, and a certificate of analysis is available for your lot.

All treatments are medical services. Every guest is screened, and every treatment is provided only under the clearance, prescription or standing protocol of a licensed medical provider. Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved unless stated. Nothing on this page is a diagnosis or a promise of results.
