The Chemistry

Amino acids link into chains. Up to about 50 is a peptide; longer, folded into a shape, is a protein. Insulin is a peptide; collagen is a protein.

Why It Matters

Short chains act as messengers: they bind a receptor and tell a cell to do something (heal, release growth hormone, feel full). Proteins are structure and machinery. Both are digested if eaten, which is why therapeutic peptides are injected.

Protein Powder Is Not Peptide Therapy

'Collagen peptides' in powders are digested into amino acids. Useful as protein; not a signal. GHK-Cu by injection is a signal.

How to Get It

At Zen IV Spa every program is prescribed by our medical director, a licensed physician, after a $50 video consultation and labs drawn at your home. Medication ships overnight anywhere in New York or New Jersey from an FDA-registered 503A pharmacy, and a nurse can come for the first dose.
