House Call Doctor
A licensed provider who comes to your home for a specific problem, paid per visit. No membership. Best for: you are sick now and do not want to go anywhere. That is what Zen IV Spa's doctor visits are.
Concierge Doctor
A primary care physician you pay an annual fee to for faster access and longer appointments, often $2,000 to $10,000 a year, usually in their office. Best for: ongoing primary care with a doctor who knows you.
Urgent Care
A walk-in clinic for problems that are not emergencies, with X-ray and a lab on site. You drive there and wait, often an hour or more. Best for: a possible fracture, a wound that needs stitches, anything needing imaging.
The Short Version
Need a doctor now and can be treated with an exam, tests and medications: house call. Want a long-term relationship: concierge. Might need an X-ray: urgent care. Breathing, chest, stroke signs, severe bleeding: 911.
Common Questions
Is a house call more expensive than urgent care?+
Usually comparable once you count the copay, the time, and the travel. We quote before dispatch.
Do house call doctors take insurance?+
We are self-pay with an itemized receipt you can submit.
Can a house call doctor be my primary care?+
For many people, yes: annual physicals, labs and prescriptions can all happen at home.
All treatments are medical services. Every guest is screened, and every treatment is provided only under the clearance, prescription or standing protocol of a licensed medical provider. Nothing on this page is a diagnosis or a promise of results. For an emergency, call 911.
