The Window
Blood levels peak around one hour and fall by half every four hours. Most men can get an erection with stimulation from about 30 minutes to roughly six hours after the pill. It does not mean six hours of erection; it means six hours of readiness.
Food and Alcohol
Take it on an empty stomach or after a light meal for the fastest start. A heavy, fatty dinner can push the start back an hour. One or two drinks are fine; more blunts the effect.
Dose
25, 50 and 100 mg. The provider usually starts at 50 and adjusts. A higher dose is stronger, not longer.
