FDA Status

NAD+ itself is not an approved drug. Oral precursors (NR, NMN) are sold as supplements. Injectable and IV NAD+ are compounded by prescription. None is approved to treat a condition, and we say so.

Oral Precursors

NR and NMN capsules raise NAD+ modestly in studies. Convenient and cheap; the effect is subtle.

Injection

Subcutaneous NAD+ two to three times a week, $229 a month shipped. The strongest home option; most people feel it within a week.

IV

250 mg for $399 or 500 mg for $599, run slowly by a nurse at home. The most NAD+, fastest. Best for a reset, then maintain with injections or the nasal spray ($249 a month).

How to Get It

At Zen IV Spa every program is prescribed by our medical director, a licensed physician, after a $50 video consultation and labs drawn at your home. Medication ships overnight anywhere in New York or New Jersey from an FDA-registered 503A pharmacy, and a nurse can come for the first dose.

Common Questions

Which should I start with?+

An IV for a reset if you can; injections for ongoing.

Side effects?+

Flushing and nausea if an IV runs fast; injection sting.

Does NMN work?+

Modestly; it is a supplement, not a prescription.
