The Core Tests

Complete blood count (hemoglobin, hematocrit, cell size), ferritin and iron studies, B12 and folate, and a reticulocyte count. Together they show whether it is iron, B12, chronic disease, or something to look into further.

Reading the Pattern

Small cells with low ferritin: iron deficiency. Large cells with low B12: B12 deficiency. Normal cells with low iron and inflammation: chronic disease anemia. The provider explains yours on video.

Treatment at Home

Iron Infusion IV ($399) for iron deficiency that pills do not fix, B12 injections ($50) for B12 deficiency, and a referral when the cause needs a specialist.

How It Works With Us

The Anemia & Iron panel is drawn at home by a nurse and reviewed on video.
