Background
Compounding pharmacies may prepare certain substances for individual prescriptions. The FDA maintains lists of what is permitted and has reviewed many peptides since 2023.
Where It Stands
Semaglutide and tirzepatide: approved drugs; compounding allowed under specific conditions. Several recovery and growth-hormone peptides have been reviewed, and some restricted. The list is not final.
What We Do
We prescribe only what is currently permitted, state FDA status on every page, and if a peptide you are on is restricted we stop and work with you on an alternative. We never call a compounded peptide FDA-approved.
