What Pre-Op Clearance Is
Your surgeon wants to know you are healthy enough for anesthesia and surgery: a history and physical, labs (CBC, metabolic panel, clotting), sometimes an EKG, and a review of which medications to stop and when.
At Home
A provider examines you, a nurse draws the labs, and we complete the surgeon's form and send it with the results. Book two to three weeks before surgery.
What We Cannot Do
Imaging. If your surgeon wants a chest X-ray, that is a separate stop.
