A Genuinely Seasonal Service Area

Most of our service area books at a fairly even pace year-round. The Hamptons and the North Fork do not. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, this is one of our busiest regions; outside that window, it quiets down to a smaller base of year-round residents and the occasional weekend visitor. If you are planning a summer trip out east, the single most useful thing to know is that booking early actually matters here in a way it rarely does in Manhattan.

We cover the full East End — Southampton, East Hampton, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, Montauk, Amagansett, Water Mill, Sagaponack, Quogue, Wainscott, Westhampton Beach, Hampton Bays and the North Fork towns from Riverhead through Orient — at the same prices as the rest of our service area, with no travel surcharge for the distance from the city.

The seasonal swing is real enough that we staff for it deliberately, bringing on additional nurses for the summer months specifically so that a Saturday morning in July does not mean a longer wait than a Tuesday in February. It mostly works, but peak weekends still fill up, which is the whole reason timing matters as much as it does out here.

Southampton and East Hampton: The Two Anchors

Southampton is one of the busiest East End service areas we cover, particularly from Memorial Day through Labor Day — a mix of estate properties south of the highway, condo communities closer to the village, and a client base that ranges from seasonal residents to weekend renters. Weekend bookings here often cluster around a specific event — a dinner party, a benefit, a wedding weekend — rather than the routine wellness pattern we see in year-round suburban towns.

East Hampton runs a similar pattern: historic village homes, oceanfront estates and rental compounds near the beach, with a client base split fairly evenly between longtime residents on standing memberships and seasonal renters booking around a specific weekend. The village itself and the surrounding hamlets both fall within our regular coverage.

Montauk, Sag Harbor and the Working Village Towns

Montauk sits at the far end of our East End coverage, and the client base here reflects the town's more laid-back, surf-and-fish identity compared to the villages closer to the highway — beach house rentals, a strong summer share-house crowd, and a steadier year-round base of local residents than some of the more seasonal Hamptons towns. Hangover and Hydration bookings run particularly high here on summer weekends, tied to the town's bar and restaurant scene.

Sag Harbor's historic whaling-village streets and working harbor set it apart from the beach-club towns nearby — a mix of restored nineteenth-century homes, newer waterfront construction, and a client base that includes a strong contingent of longtime part-time residents who book with us season after season, often reaching out again the same week they arrive for the summer.

The North Fork: A Different Pace Entirely

The North Fork moves at a different pace than its more famous neighbor across the bay — vineyards and farm stands instead of beach clubs, and a client base that is as likely to be running a tasting room as visiting one. We cover Riverhead, Jamesport, Mattituck, Cutchogue, Southold, Greenport and Orient, with the same pricing and the same no-travel-fee policy as anywhere else we serve.

Booking patterns on the North Fork are noticeably steadier across the season than in the Hamptons proper — less concentrated into a handful of peak weekends, more spread across the whole summer, which in practice means slightly more flexibility if you are booking on short notice out here.

Shelter Island, tucked between the North and South Forks, follows its own quiet rhythm — a smaller, ferry-only community where bookings are less frequent but no less real, and where we plan the visit around the ferry schedule the same way a resident would plan any other appointment.

How Far Ahead to Book

Same-day appointments are still often possible for one or two people, even in peak season, but the margin for error shrinks considerably in July and August. If you know you have a wedding weekend, a share-house group or a specific event out east, book as soon as the date is set rather than the week of. Groups of five or more should give us two to three days' notice year-round; in peak summer, treat that as a floor rather than a comfortable margin.

If your plans are still loose — a possible weekend trip, a maybe-visit to a share house — it still costs nothing to reach out early and get a sense of availability. We would rather tell you a specific weekend is tight two months out than have you find out the week of.

Who Actually Books an East End Drip

The share-house group recovering from a Saturday night: this is the single most common East End booking pattern we see. Six or eight friends split a summer rental, someone books a group Hangover and Hydration session for Sunday morning, and everyone is upright well before the drive back to the city.

The part-time Sag Harbor or North Fork resident settling in for the season: a number of our East End clients keep a light membership through the winter and step it up to a weekly or biweekly rhythm the moment they arrive for the summer, often reaching out the same week they open the house up.

The Montauk weekend surfer or fisherman: Athletic Recovery and Hydration are the two most requested formulas among a client base that spends a lot of the weekend outdoors and wants to feel normal again by Monday.
