Every Zen IV Spa drip is built from the same simple parts: a bag of sterile fluid, the vitamins and minerals you choose, and sometimes a prescription medicine for nausea, pain or allergies.

Below is each ingredient in plain words. Click any name to read a full page about it. If you want to choose your own mix, see the Custom IV on our menu, or just ask your nurse.

IV Fluids (Saline and Lactated Ringer’s)

What it is. The base of every drip. Saline is sterile water with the same amount of salt as your blood. Lactated Ringer’s is similar, with extra electrolytes like potassium and calcium. Most Zen IV Spa drips use a full liter of Lactated Ringer’s.

Why it is used. Fluids rehydrate you fast and carry the other ingredients into your blood. Helpful after a stomach bug, a hot day, a long flight or a late night.

Vitamin C

What it is. An antioxidant your body cannot make on its own. You normally get it from fruit and vegetables.

Why it is used. It supports the immune system and healthy skin. High doses are only possible by IV, since the gut can only absorb so much at once. Found in our Immune Boost, Myers’ and Glow Up drips.

Glutathione

What it is. Your body’s main antioxidant. It is made in the liver and helps clear out waste products.

Why it is used. Many people choose it for recovery, brighter-looking skin and support after a big night out. It is usually given as a “push” at the end of the drip. Available as an add-on or as our Glow Shot.

B-Complex

What it is. A group of B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5 and B6) that help turn food into energy.

Why it is used. People pick it for everyday energy, focus and stress. It is in the Myers’ Cocktail and most of our energy drips.

Vitamin B12

What it is. A vitamin your nerves and red blood cells need. It is found in meat, eggs and dairy, so vegans and vegetarians often run low.

Why it is used. The most popular add-on for energy and mood. Also available as a quick B12 shot.

Biotin (Vitamin B7)

What it is. A B vitamin linked to hair, skin and nails.

Magnesium

What it is. A mineral that muscles and nerves use to relax and work normally.

Why it is used. Many people report it helps with muscle cramps, tension, migraines and sleep. It is part of the classic Myers’ Cocktail.

Amino Acids and Taurine

What it is. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Taurine is one of them. Your muscles, brain and heart all use them.

Why it is used. Athletes and active people choose amino acids for muscle recovery and taurine for steady energy without caffeine. Found in our Athletic Recovery drip.

Taurine is also available on its own: see the taurine add-on.

NAD+

What it is. A molecule every cell uses to make energy. Levels drop as we get older.

Why it is used. People book NAD+ for mental clarity, energy, healthy aging and recovery. It drips slowly, so plan for a longer visit. Your nurse adjusts the speed to keep you comfortable.

Also available as a quick shot: the Biohack Shot.

Common Questions

Can I pick my own ingredients?+

Yes. Our Custom IV starts with a liter of fluids and any two standard add-ons. You can add more. Your nurse will check that your choices are safe for you.

Where do your ingredients come from?+

From licensed U.S. pharmacies. Vitamins and medicines are stored and handled by our nursing team under physician oversight, and every drip uses sterile, single-use supplies.

Are the medicine add-ons prescription only?+

Yes. Ondansetron, famotidine, ketorolac and dexamethasone are prescription medicines. Our medical team reviews your screening before they are given, and some are only used when there is a clear reason.

Can I get a drip if I take daily medications?+

Often, yes. Tell your nurse everything you take, including supplements. A few combinations are not a good idea, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Do you use preservatives or dyes?+

The fluids we use are standard hospital-grade sterile fluids. We do not add dyes or flavorings. Ask your nurse if you have a specific allergy or sensitivity.

Which ingredient is best for energy?+

Many people pick B12 and B-complex for everyday energy, and NAD+ for deeper, longer-lasting support. Your nurse can help you choose.
